Decorative Border

Luke Asa Guidici: Director

An important part of my filmmaking is the fact that I grew up in a home without a TV. Free from the tube, I learned to use my imagination to entertain myself. I never took motion pictures for granted & I'm sure that played a part in forming my offbeat & often subversive aesthetic.

After graduating Magna Cum Laude BA/Cinema from SFSU in 2003, I moved to Los Angeles where I've worked as an extra, grip, PA, AD, camera operator, producer, and for the most part, as an editor. I can take a project from a sketch on a napkin to an HD delivery.

I love film immensely, but it’s not my only interest. I create when and where ever I can. I try not to limit or put any constraints on myself. If I get an idea – I do it. So at first, some of my work might not seem connected, but if you look past the genre or the medium, you’ll begin to see the common threads… starting with an unencumbered imagination.

If it weren't for filmmaking I'd be doing something with politics or cooking, while snowboarding as much as possible.
