Been a while (like months) but I finally am posting pics from the Young Director’s Night film screening at LACMA Myself, Troy, and Daisy

Me again with Anna – the curator of the event…the theater behind us, a month earlier I was watching the Marx Brothers in it.

All-in-all it was a good night…the program ran too long, there should have only been 1 screening. The party was totally over before the 2nd one ended and we didn’t get to talk after both screenings. I took off with some friends midway through the last show…later I thought I should have hung out anyways. ahhh, oh well. I’ll remember that next time. Here’s the banner I made for the screening Oh! I had a picture in the “American Film Magazine” which is put out by AFI. That was pretty cool. Justin called me up and told me I was in it…he’d just picked one up at a party for AFI fest and was looking at it later and there I was. heheh.

but hardly any of you know the story behind it…. over break, I was talking w/ this special lady who I’d met in LA several days previous. I teased her about being “Suuthern” and she teased me about going home and hanging out in the woods with my big blue ox. this might have stemmed from the fact that I talked about eating venison, climbing mountains, and on our first meeting proudly showed her this picture of myself…

I decided to make the site to show her “the real Luke” as a Christmas present…buuut I didn’t want her finding out from me – so I used a friend of a friend of a friend to get it to her…her reaction was priceless. a small excerpt…

I convinced her it was with my meta tags…which included “paul bunyon” and “big blue oxe”
