hey friends,
this week I’m excited to share with you a short film that I helped edit! my good friend Matt Wilson wrote and directed THE FINAL MOMENTS OF KARL BRANDT. the film has an amazing look to it, harkening back to techno-noir films like BLADE RUNNER and a haunting sound design. thematically, BRANDT explores the question “what makes us who we are?” is it our bodies? our minds? or something else entirely?
it’s also worth noting that Matt and I met at Comic-Con a couple of years ago through this film’s cinematographer, Brett Pawlak, who shot film my short APT. 5 (among others).
